As an Electrical System Engineer of Loft's program team, you will work on multiple satellite missions simultaneously, each with a unique, multi-payload configuration. Your role will be to ensure the successful power and command protocol integration of the payloads to the bus. You will work cross-functionally across multiple Loft teams: satellite electrical configuration, payload interface software, mission engineering and AI&T.
About the Role:
You will work both with Other Groups and Customers to develop and maintain technical power budgets for spacecraft performance.You will develop and manage electrical requirements and verification techniques with both Other Groups and Customers.You will support test procedures and participate in the integration and test campaign at our spacecraft manufacturer's site.Must Haves:
French national so they can support new French specific missionsEnjoy being the face of the electrical technical requirements and working with a team to deliver quality hardware.Knowledge of bus protocols of: SpaceWire, Ethernet, CAN, and RS-4XX specificationsExperience developing system and component requirements and interconnect diagramsAbility to interpret EMI/EMC test plans and test reports.Experience with power allocation and distribution systems including fault tolerant and derating considerationsEnjoy working on tight schedules with high visibility opportunities to shineAble to engage multiple challenges simultaneously with a determination to push through resolutionWilling to embrace change with a positive attitude and a determination to deliverNice to Haves:
