This internship will be carried out between three research entities (Biodata, Microorganisms and Nutrition, Microbiota and Health) of the Lesaffre Institute of Science and Technology. Your role will consist in digging into our microorganism collection to identify specific transporters and enzymatic activities related to putative functions. Within the time frame of the internships two to three research targets will be explored (dry-lab step 1). This initial stage should reduce the number of candidates for follow-up validation work in the laboratory (wet-lab step 2) with ad hoc assays (microbiology or cell biology) to assess potential biotic candidates (yeast or bacteria).
