Privacy Legal Counsel - Internship (6 months) f/m

What you'll be doing:

  • Participate in monitoring the compliance program across all group teams and in the implementation of compliance actions. This includes analyzing business constraints and risks, identifying necessary measures, project follow-up, and developing procedures.

  • Be responsible for processing requests from clients and employees regarding their personal data (access, deletion, rectification, etc.) and contribute to the improvement and automation of the procedure for managing these requests.

  • Contribute to the mapping of data processing activities and data flows between internal systems and the group's technical service providers, and you will update the register of processing activities.

  • Take part in the negotiation of personal data clauses in contracts concluded by Ledger with its service providers and in the periodic review of these providers' compliance.

  • Monitor any ongoing litigation, the definition of the strategy, and the management of relationships with lawyers.

  • Manage legal monitoring on current topics and the drafting of internal communications (e.g., newsletters) for business teams.

  • More generally, you will respond to all questions from teams regarding personal data.

  • Depending on the needs of the legal department, you may also provide support to other members on a wide range of legal topics (trademark law, contract law, corporate law, etc.).

What we're looking for:

  • Specialization in personal data law or information technology law (Master 2 level), with initial experience in a legal department or law firm handling personal data issues, or within a data protection authority.

  • A strong sense of organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • You enjoy teamwork, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and are comfortable interacting with operational teams.

  • You have a fluent level of English, enabling you to communicate daily with international teams and work on contracts in English.

  • You are proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

  • Knowledge in the field of blockchain and cryptocurrencies is appreciated but not mandatory.

  • Start date: January 2026
