As a Head Host for Bramble Ski or Haute Montagne, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional luxury experience for our guests. You are responsible for managing day-to-day hosting and housekeeping tasks, maintaining property standards, and ensuring smooth operations in line with the company’s high service expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

  • Deliver all daily hosting and housekeeping duties to meet or exceed guest expectations.

  • Prepare, lay out, and serve meals such as breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés, and dinner, as required.

  • Provide a warm welcome by meeting and greeting guests upon arrival and assisting with luggage.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the property.

  • Ensure guest allergies are noted and respected in food preparation.

Property Management:

  • Conduct property changeovers, openings, and closures, including cleaning and inventories.

  • Perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, unblocking toilets) and escalate major issues to the Maintenance Manager or resort team.

  • Decorate properties seasonally (e.g., flower arrangements).

  • Ensure proper use, inventory, and replenishment of linen, towels, and cleaning materials.

  • Prevent damage to property and report any incidents immediately.

Operational Management:

  • Report directly to the Chalet Manager depending on the booking (Bramble Ski or Haute Montagne).

  • Manage and adhere to company budgets and accounting procedures.

  • Purchase or restock property items when authorized (cutlery, crockery, kitchen items, etc.).

  • Conduct and assist with regular stocktakes and inventories as instructed.

Team Leadership & Communication:

  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.

  • Handle minor staff disputes locally before escalating to management.

  • Uphold professionalism and company reputation in all staff interactions and with external partners.

  • Attend all scheduled staff meetings and briefings.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Comply with all local laws and health & safety regulations.

  • Never break mountain safety regulations while in uniform.

  • Follow food safety procedures, particularly regarding allergies.

Other Duties:

  • Distribute tips in accordance with company policy.

  • Follow company policies regarding the sale of additional services or activities (e.g., no unauthorized freelance services).

  • You may be required to temporarily assist in other resorts (Austria, France, Switzerland) to cover for sickness or injury.
