Product Safety Expert

As a Product Safety Expert at L-Acoustics, a leader in professional sound systems, you will be responsible for managing risks related to the safety of systems (speakers, accessories). You will handle all types of risks (mechanical, electrical, etc.), both for new products and those undergoing aging. You will be involved in the design and manufacturing stages.

Responsibilities:

• General Safety: Ensure the safety of speaker systems by proposing Product and Process solutions to guarantee zero safety failures during operations.
• Risk Analysis: Identify and evaluate risks in product/process design and manufacturing.
• Solutions: Propose product/process solutions and trade-offs to achieve the required safety level.
• Feedback Utilization: Use feedback to continuously improve processes and products.
• Training and Expertise: Develop team expertise on safety aspects by sharing best practices and training team members.
• Documentation: Write and maintain up-to-date documentation related to risk analyses and implemented safety measures.

Required Skills:

• Risk Analysis: Proven experience in risk analysis and implementation of safety measures.
• Technical Expertise: Strong multidisciplinary technical knowledge and associated risks.
• Leadership: Ability to collaborate with different teams to achieve safety objectives and maintain the level of Safety expertise in all involved teams.

Desired Profile:

• Education: Degree in engineering.
• Experience: 10-15 years of experience in a similar role.
• Languages: Proficiency in French and English.
