Join Kumulus as the CEO Right-Hand Intern and work directly with our founder–CEO on finance, strategy and growth. You will prepare key analyses and reports, follow grants and fundraising topics, and support go-to-market projects across several countries in a mission-driven water-tech startup.
You will work hand-in-hand with the CEO on a mix of financial, strategic and operational topics. Expect a high level of exposure, responsibility and variety, from deep-dive analyses to preparing key meetings and following up on action plans.
Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly dashboards and concise notes for the CEO and shareholders, tracking KPIs and highlighting risks and opportunities.
Financial Modelling & Presentations
Build and update financial models and investor or board presentations used for fundraising, grants and internal scenario planning.
Budget Review & Analysis
Support annual and quarterly budgeting, analyse variances with teams and propose actions to improve financial efficiency and resource allocation.
Grants and Financing
Help identify grant and financing opportunities, prepare application files and ensure follow-up on deliverables and reporting obligations.
Go-to-Market & Business Planning
Contribute to market sizing, pricing simulations and country business cases to guide expansion and product rollout decisions.
Strategic Projects
Take ownership of ad-hoc strategic topics (partnerships, industrialisation, new product economics), from research and benchmarking to clear recommendations.
High-Impact Mission
Work on a project that directly improves access to safe drinking water while reducing plastic waste and CO₂ emissions.
Direct Exposure to Leadership
Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team and see how strategic and financial decisions are made in real time.

Academic Background
Student or recent graduate from a top engineering or business school, with strong analytical and quantitative skills and a clear interest in finance and strategy.

Good understanding of core management topics (finance, strategy, marketing) and the ability to structure problems and translate numbers into clear insights.
Technical Proficiency
Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Comfortable building financial models and clean presentations that support decision-making.
Soft Skills
Proactive, organised and reliable team player, able to manage several topics at once, work closely with the CEO and take ownership of your work.
Language Abilities
Fluency in English is essential. French is a strong plus; any additional European or MENA language is an advantage.
Professional Experience
Previous internship experience in fast-growing start-ups, consulting, audit, banking, M&A or corporate strategy is considered a strong asset.
Step 1: HR interview - 30-minute call to review background, motivation, availability and basic fit with the role and company.
Step 2: Interview with the CEO - 45–60-minute interview with Iheb to discuss experience, way of working, and expectations on both sides.
Step 3: Case Study - Take-home or live case on a finance/strategy topic (e.g. simple model + short note). Debrief with the CEO and one team member.
Step 4: Culture-fit conversation - Informal discussion with 1–2 team members to validate culture fit, answer questions and close the loop before offer.
