What’s the job?

About the RoleWe are seeking a Cloud Engineer (DevSecOps) to enhance our cloud platform with a focus on security and automation. In this role, you will help design secure delivery pipelines, improve infrastructure on AWS and GCP, and ensure best practices are followed across the software lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security and shape platform standards.

Responsibilities

• Embed security best practices into all stages of the software delivery lifecycle
• Drive automation in infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security controls
• Support the design and delivery of secure pipelines and paths to production
• Working closely with the Tech Lead, Product Owner and scrum masters to create, deliver and support the platform in line with our infrastructure strategy
• Reviewing automation in technical areas and recommend improvements
• Deploy, plan and maintain IAAS, PAAS & tooling capabilities
• Creation and ongoing ownership of the platform common standards and practices

• A strong background and working knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps practices
• Strong knowledge of AWS and GCP
• Solid experience with Terraform, including managing secure infrastructure as code
• A strong technical background in build and release environments, with experience of CI tools such as Gitlab or Jenkins
• Familiarity with monitoring and security observability tools such as DataDog, Dynatrace, or similar
• Have strong problem-solving skills to help the teams when decisions are needed
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
