We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a product and data team building a technology platform designed to optimize data flows across supply chains, particularly within ultra-fresh product ecosystems.

The platform connects multiple stakeholders within a real-time environment, enabling better operational performance while contributing to the reduction of food waste through advanced data analysis.

The Data Engineer will play a key role in structuring, processing, and leveraging data, while also contributing to Machine Learning and AI initiatives for advanced analytics and predictive insights.

Data Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines.

• Collect, transform, and structure data from multiple sources.

• Optimize data storage and queries in BigQuery.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across systems.

Data Analytics & Visualization

• Structure datasets to support business analytics.

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Google Looker.

• Collaborate with product and business teams to define and track key metrics.

Machine Learning & AI

• Contribute to the development and integration of Machine Learning models for predictive analytics.

• Prepare datasets used for model training and evaluation.

• Participate in the production deployment of ML models within data pipelines.

Requirements :

• 1–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Experience working with BigQuery or similar data warehouses.

• Experience with BI or data visualization tools (Looker is a plus).

• Knowledge of Machine Learning applied to data analysis.

• Experience with Django or Python backend frameworks.

• Good understanding of modern data architectures.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform

• Experience designing ETL / ELT pipelines

• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, or food tech industries

• Interest in sustainability and reducing food waste
