Why this role exists

Inbolt brings intelligence to industrial robots with real-time 3D vision. This role owns the US delivery engine: faster deployments, higher reliability in production, and a tight feedback loop to product and engineering.

You will be the leader of our US Applications Engineering team (player-coach), responsible for execution in factories and building the processes and team to scale.

What you will own

  • Deployment execution: Lead commissioning and rollouts at customer sites, from first install to stable production.

  • Production reliability: Own escalations, root-cause analysis, and permanent fixes with Engineering.

  • Playbooks and standards: Build repeatable deployment processes, checklists, documentation, and training for internal teams and partners.

  • Customer-facing technical leadership: Build trust with plant teams, integrators, OEMs, and automation engineers.

  • Team leadership: Hire, coach, and structure the US Applications Engineering team as volume scales.

  • Field feedback loop: Turn field learnings into product requirements, prioritization inputs, and measurable improvements.

What success looks like (first 6 to 12 months)

  • Deployments get faster and more predictable (time-to-production decreases).

  • Fewer site emergencies (lower incident rate, faster MTTR when incidents happen).

  • Higher production reliability (uptime and cycle consistency improve).

  • Engineering gets clear, prioritized feedback with evidence, logs, and reproducible cases.

  • The US team becomes a machine: strong hiring bar, clear ownership, clean process.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience is required.

  • Experience as a field-based robotics and/or machine vision application engineer.

  • Flexibility with changing requirements in an evolving and fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to travel internationally.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and other teams within the company.

  • Experience in Industrial Automation, Automotive industrial manufacturing, Computer Vision or similar is a plus

Preferred experience

  • Strong team spirit and collaboration skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Enthusiastic, hands-on approach.

  • Proactive and autonomous with a “get it done” attitude and a drive to exceed objectives.

What We Value

Ownership end-to-end, high standards, speed with precision, and people who build systems, not heroics.
