The primary focus of this position will be the Greater London Zone with Heathrow, Stansted and Gatwick Airports as the priority locations. You will therefore be required to plan regular weekly visits to these airports’ counters.
You will also be expected to travel to the Regional airports of Birmingham, Manchester, and Scottish airports as well as some local airports, ports and border shops where required and these will be prioritised according to business needs.
You will be expected to travel to Dublin along with regional Irish airports and Ports. Some weekend work might be required as well as some overnight stays. You will be supporting our Counter Manager and Brand Ambassador team with selling, coaching, merchandising and business priorities on a daily basis along with working with the travel retail retailers and 3rd party agencies.
Context:
- Ensure exceptional Standards of visual merchandising and presentation at the retailer’s POS and in Hermes Stores in TR throughout the UK & Ireland.
- Drive sales performance through delivering the business objectives and strategies and BC’s KPI’s and Business review reporting.
- Support the Field teams to ensure all POSM and visual merchandising is completed in line with Company Guidelines and standards.
- Regular sales performance analysis across all counters and follow-up to ensure optimal results.
Principal Activities:
Develop, Drive and Report sales performance in accordance with the business objectives and strategy
- Consolidate and analyse all sales reports, competition information, trends, and opportunities.
- Complete Monthly Business review with the RBM.
- Closely monitor monthly target per airport & stores according to the action plan.
- Manage rotas ensuring adequate cover for the shop floor in line with the budgets, utilizing all the tools provided for the best optimisation. Sending rotas at least one month in advance to the team.
- Follow up on all the invoices and associated agency costs, ensuring budget compliance.
- Establish excellent relationships with clients, store and counter management and local logistics team through frequent and qualitative interactions. Communicate and drive a shared strategy, through marketing and local 360 action plans.
- Develop/improve and implement operational management tracking files.
- Frequent review processes undertaken to ensure best practices.
- Plan Inventory and oversee ordering for GWP & POSM.
- Make regular visits to the local warehouse in order to maintain efficiency.
- Plan and manage the trade tools use (traffic stopping, GWP, Art of gifting, testers…) to maximise the sell-out performance and client service.
- Assortment management for business performance (right product in the right locations for the right client / targeting destination). Define the minimum quantities needed per ref per store. Guarantee no Out of Stock with regular follow up.
Excellence of Image in retailer POS and in Hermès Stores in TR in UK & Ireland
- Conduct store visits 3- 4 door’s Per week, with the priorities based around the business needs and defined by RBM.
- Identify and take any opportunity to improve the organisations of our animations and ensure all Stakeholders have delivered on all animations activities and follow up on all performance need.
- Ensure excellence of execution of Hermes image.
- Plan and implement the Visual Merchandising, ordering all POSM and Visuals for all the marketing plan, and feedback back from Field team and Trainer, complete all reporting tools after each shop visit.
Manage and motivate the Beauty Consultants and Agency and Retail staff member.
- Share objectives, evaluate and animate the team and individuals to encourage strong sales performance.
- Define local incentives.
- Optimise and validate BCs shifts together, prioritise seasonal activity and identify opportunities together with the BC team agency and shop management.
- Ensure a strong partnership with agencies and all costs are within the allocated budget.
- Set and share targets with Promoters or animation team. Define incentives where applicable.
Profile:
Education and/or work experience:
- At least two years’ sales and retail experience. Ideally within fragrance and or beauty industry.
- Fluent English speaker, additional languages would be advantageous.
- You will need to provide a full 5-year background check including proof of identity to obtain an Airport ID pass allowing you to work in the international departure’s lounges in the airside areas.
