Role Overview 

We are seeking a visionary, entrepreneurial, and highly connected Global Director of Gaming to lead the development of our gaming capabilities worldwide. This senior leader will be responsible for establishing Havas Play’s global vision in gaming, driving business growth, enabling market adoption, and fostering a dynamic partner ecosystem. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Define the Global Vision: Shape and articulate Havas Play’s global strategy and creative positioning in the gaming and esports space. 

  • Develop the Business Plan: Build a robust global business model, including revenue streams, go-to-market strategy, and service offering frameworks. 

  • Lead the Sales Pipeline: Design and manage a scalable pipeline of gaming-related opportunities across global and local clients. 

  • Support Local Markets: Collaborate with local Havas markets to co-develop client proposals, pitch support, and strategic guidance. 

  • Internal Training & Enablement: Lead the creation and delivery of internal trainings to elevate gaming expertise across Havas Play teams. 

  • Build a Partner Ecosystem: Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic partnerships with gaming publishers, platforms, tech partners, creators, and esports organizations. 

  • Innovation & Thought Leadership: Direct trends to ensure Havas Play leads the industry in gaming innovation and cultural relevance. 

Profile & Skills 

  • 8+ years of experience in gaming, entertainment, media, or digital innovation, ideally within an agency, publisher, or platform. 

  • Proven track record of building gaming strategies and monetization models for brands or agencies. 

  • Strong global perspective with experience working across multiple markets and cultures. 

  • Deep understanding of the gaming ecosystem: publishers, platforms, influencers, communities, and trends. 

  • Excellent commercial acumen, with experience managing high-level client relationships and complex sales cycles. 

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence across senior stakeholders. 

  • Passion for gaming culture and a constant curiosity for emerging trends and technologies. 

  • Full professional proficiency in English is essential; native or near-native fluency preferred.
