In this role you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day quality compliance and support new product development across our Infant Milk Formula (IMF) products and Probiotics products under Brand Biostime. You will work closely together with the Quality management teams in our key regions China, Australia, France, EU, SEA and US.

You will oversee the Global Quality & Food Safety standards for IMF and Probiotics and work directly with our suppliers and contract manufacturers(CMs) based in Europe (i.e. France, Denmark, Switzerland) to ensure compliance with H&H quality standards. Drive suppliers and CMs to continuously improve in quality.

Mission Purpose:

  • Manage the assessment and approval of new IMF material suppliers for in-house plants and core material suppliers used in CMs according to H&H standard.

  • Manage the existing EU suppliers and CMs,

o Set up audit plans (yearly and 3 years). Perform audits and follow up CAPA to ensure the closure of non-compliances from audits.

o Follow up on all non-conformities such like complaints from markets, products out of specifications (OOS), process deviations. Make sure suppliers and CMs conduct completed investigation and solid root cause analysis.

o Routine visit to core CMs and ingredient, primary package material suppliers to validate the compliance of specifications and drive to close the identified gaps. Ongoing review of processes and the potential for improvement.

  • Perform supplier assessment - analyze material, finish good data and provide clear plans to drive suppliers and CMs in Quality Improvement. Finish suppliers’ performance review quarterly and yearly.

  • Manage change control - Involved in risk assessment and approval of major changes in suppliers and CMs.

o Provide monthly, quarterly and yearly management reports (trends on OOS, complaints, deviations…) to stakeholders.

  • Facilitate NPD/EPD Projects to launch in CMs including provide Quality input , new suppliers assessment, line validation, products trial, process control, control release if applicable, etc.

o Coordinate suppliers and CMs to provide necessary dossiers to fulfill IMF formula registration, certifications (e.g. Organic certifications).

  • Take all appropriate actions and initiatives in order to anticipate and apply legislation evolution,

in collaboration with Regulatory, where necessary.

o Work closely with Purchasing to drive supplier quality improvement.

o Contribution to the feeding and maintenance of updated data in (e)-qms.

  • Effective collaboration all stakeholders, including external such as suppliers, CMs and internal cross functions, cross regions.

  • Manage different projects as required by the business.

o Communicate clearly and in advance, the identified sensitive points and propose solutions / alternatives.

  • Continually analyzes and assess personal performance and discuss via key accountabilities with manager/s at regular performance appraisal meetings.

  • Implement OH&S standards.

  • Show initiative in maintaining a happy, positive work environment.


Profil recherché

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Food, Nutrition or Pharmaceutical, mainly in the areas of Development, Manufacturing and QA/QC

  • Solid understanding of Regulatory requirements for including a strong working knowledge of Quality Risk Management and Compliance.

  • Knowledgeable in quality management tools & techniques experience e.g. HACCP,SQA, SPC, LEAN, etc. Practical application of Food Safety & Quality Principles and systems. Auditing experiences are preferred - Proficient in technical auditing related to FMCG raw materials.

  • Good background in cross-cultural communications and management.

  • Experience in IMF and in Probiotics is a plus

  • Post-graduate qualifications desirable

  • International quality experience is considered an advantage
