We are looking for a passionate Engineering Manager (EM) to help us develop a developer-first cybersecurity solution.

You will build and lead the Platform Tribe. This team meets a wide range of business-critical needs. Indeed, the team is composed of the 4 following squads: Data, SRE, Security and IT. You will report directly to the VP of Engineering

By joining our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Manage several teams that are responsible for developing and maintaining large scale distributed systems across on-premise and public cloud platforms

  • People management of the different squad leads belonging to the Platform tribe

  • Owning, sharing, obtaining the buy-in of the vision & strategy of the tribe

  • Co-building with the leads the vision & strategy of the different squads

  • Help team members set ambitious goals (OKRs) and achieve them, and take ownership of sub-systems

  • Co-building the roadmaps of the different squads and communicating them

  • Support recruiting efforts and hire key people

  • Owning the career path of the different profiles (Leads, Data Engineers, SRE, Security Engineers, …)

  • Owning the budget of the tribe (projection, tracking, cost optimisation)

  • Participating in defining and setting up different process necessary to the team

  • Participating with the VP & other EMs to cross-tribes projects (e.g. evolution of the incident management)


Profil recherché

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience

  • 4+ years of experience of leading and/or managing an engineering team in a fast-paced environment

  • 2+ years of experience of managing multiple teams (manager of managers)

  • Clear, proactive communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong leadership skills. A sense of authority & empathy, setting ambitious goals & motivate people

  • Solid Project Management skills. In particular, experience with leading complex projects involving multi teams.

  • Former experience in development (features and/or infra as code)

  • Strong technical background. Having a strong grasp of heterogeneous topics: general product development, architecture, CI, infrastructure, security, data pipeline, …

  • Experience managing teams responsible for 24/7 availability and performance of SaaS production environment

  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud providers

  • Degree in engineering, computer science or similar technical field

  • You speak English fluently

Bonus points:

  • Deep understanding of the startups dynamics and challenges, because we are expanding constantly!

  • Former experience in an environment where security is paramount

  • Former experience as a developer implementing product features

  • Have experienced in developing a product for developers or DevOps or security team


Déroulement des entretiens

  • 1 Visio call with a recruiter

  • 1 interview with the VP of Engineering

  • 1 interview with the Platform Team (2x45 minutes)

  • 1 final interview with our Founder
