We are looking for talented people who are willing to join a motivated a passionate Data Engineering team in a positive start-up atmosphere. As a Software Engineer intern, you will work directly with Christophe, Head of Engineering, and your main mission will be to design and develop the data engineering and data science services of the platform.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop our Python SDK to open the platform to external integrators and developers.
• Develop and maintain of our library of source connectors for data integration into the platform (AWS S3, Google BigQuery, API, etc.).
• Manage meta data, as well as design and develop connectors to NoSql, newSQL, and SQL databases.
• Research and development on last generation big data technologies (Spark, Kafka…).
• Develop and integrate data science services within data processing workflows.
• Develop a multi-database query language in JSON language and an automated and optimized querying.

• You are open-minded and enthusiast to work in a startup environment and multicultural team
• You have a passion for new technologies and can easily adapt to / are eager to learn about a new language or technology.
• You are familiar with Python / Java, and web technologies (REST) & API concepts.
• You are familiar with a transactional DBMS (MySQL, Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server…) and a NoSQL DBMS (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, HBase …)
• You are comfortable with data science algorithms and libraries (for ex. Pandas..)
• You are curious about big data technologies like Spark, Scala / C#/C++ languages, cloud computing and infrastructure concepts
• You have a good level of English in a technical professional context
