Within the legal department and reporting direclty to the Group Legal Director, your missions are :

• Draft, review, negotiate and support implementation of a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Assist in implementing standard processes and templates.
• Serve as a strategic partner to the sales, purchasing and project management teams and provide high quality advice regarding notably commercial issues, intellectual property and competition matters, construction of contractual provisions.
• Anticipate risks and legal needs, alert, advise and propose appropriate and optimized solutions.
• Prepare legal analyses and legal opinions. Analyze and interpret planned or existing national and international laws, regulations and contractual arrangements – advise on their interpretation and application.
• Follow-up contentious matters(claims, litigations, etc) by the supervision when necessary of outside counsels
• Contribute to improving skills and know-how of the junior members of the Business legal team.
• Organize in-house training sessions for employees
• Contracts management software

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Legal Counsel or similar position for at least 6 years.
• Experience working internationally and on a variety of cross-border matters.
• Excellent written (including contract/legal drafting) and oral communication skills in English.
• Strong negotiation skills

Job based in Lille ( remote possible 2 days/week maximum).
