Job purpose

Business Continuity is a key topic in the transformation roadmap of Europ Assistance and the Group is fully supportive to tackle the challenges of the coming years. To that extent, the current CSO team is looking to reinforce the team with a Business Continuity Manager who will additionally oversee the proper implementation of corporate travel policy, security events management and assess the security measures in place for physical sites where Europ Assistance is present.

The main role of Business Continuity Manager is to:

·       Ensure an effective enterprise Business Continuity Management governance framework that is consistent with general regulatory requirements and industry best practices/standards is developed, maintained, and adhered to across the company

·       Ensure the right implementation of events’ security, travel security and physical security policies within Europ Assistance group, , relying on the Group policies today in place.

Primary duties and responsibilities

·       You work as a Business Continuity Manager ensuring a proper end-to-end governance of Business Continuity aspects for Europ Assistance Holding and act as guide and coordinator for the entire Group. In addition to business continuity, you will ensure proper adoption, implementation and execution of Group policies regulating: travel security aspects, event security and physical security in terms of evaluation of security measures adopted within Europ Assistance (EA) sites.

·       Part of the CSO team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of the enterprise-wide business continuity management program including:

·       Accountable for the entire BCM: performing BIA and RIA, defining the BCM Strategy and developing the BC Plan at Europ Assistance Group level

·       Ensures the correct maintenance of the BCM, exercises and tests the BC Plan and guarantees the continuous improvement of BCM Strategy at EA Group level

·       Is aware about Disaster Recovery (DR) activities in relation to defined structure, datacenter locations for critical system, DR Tests conducted and outcomes, issues and risks

·       Coordinating activities across the group to ensure a harmonized risk-based approach to Business Continuity

·       Coordinate the proper implementation of the travel security policy, the events security policy, and the physical security policy within the EA group, by defining the appropriate governance, processes, measures, and tools. 

·       The role may require providing 7/24 event management on-call support

Main interactions

The Business Continuity Manager reports directly to the Group Chief Information Security Officer (Group CISO)

She/ He will interact with: Other members of the Group security team , Business process owners and application owners , The IT department, Regional and local Chief Information Officers, Chief Operation Officers and Chief Executive Officers , Local Business Continuity referents as well as local travel security, physical security and security event managers.


Profil recherché

Qualifications

·       Ideally, 5+ years’ experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

·       The understanding of business continuity management and governance frameworks

.       Strong knowledge of business continuity best practices and protocols

·       Business Continuity Management practices and protocols, including in-depth knowledge of international BCM standards

·       A strong understanding of Operational risk and resilience

·       An understanding of physical risks and resilience

     Able to manage stressful situations especially during security incidents and crisis

     Excellent team skills, both as a leader and as a team player

     Excellent communication skills, especially related to facilitation, documentation, and reporting

     Highly developed relationship management, influencing and leadership skills

     May require to participate in ‘on-call’ manager duties (7/24 on rotational schedule) in support of the Crisis escalation function

     Good skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Powerpoint

VERY GOOD LEVEL OF ENGLISH IS MANDATORY to succeed in this role
