You will start as a Deep Learning Scientist within our technical team, with the opportunity to expand your scope into full-stack data science as you grow with us. Your responsibilities will include:
Deep Learning - build killer deep-learning algorithms
Develop Deep Learning algorithms, notably to analyze contrails and their climate impacts on satellite images (MTG, GOES, LEO)
Prototype, iterate, and deploy models to cloud platforms, ensuring scalability and real-world applicability.
Lead data-science project as part of our product roadmap
Over time, take ownership of end-to-end data projects, from pipeline development to product integration.
Support our research team to push boundaries of climate modelling
Impact - drive customers to mitigate their climate impact
Aviation sustainability ambassador - spread the word
Support the sales team effort at tradeshows or when drafting technical propositions
Attend technical sessions with external stakeholders to present your work
Communicate and educate our community on the best ways to reduce the impact of the sector, be a mastermind at bringing complex climate science to the many
We are looking for the following qualifications but do not worry if not matching all of them :
4+ years of experience as a Deep Learning Scientist, ideally in aerospace, aviation, or academia.
Expertise in computer vision, especially satellite imagery analysis and geospatial data, using PyTorch/TensorFlow.
MLOps experience: Building automated pipelines and deploying models at scale.
Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience in Pandas, efficient coding, and cloud deployment (GCP, AWS, Docker, FastAPI, BigQuery).
Interest in full-stack data science: Experience or curiosity in data engineering, backend development, or building data products is a plus.
Candidate should be curious, autonomous and a reliable team player with interest for aviation, sustainability & impact
Fluent in french is a plus but not necessary, we speak day to day in english
“This cannot work” is a sentence you use very carefully
A first interview with a data scientist (30min) :
Get-to-know and discussion about experience, motivation and interests
Short technical challenge “e.g. how does an airplane fly?”
A second interview with a member of the tech team (30min) :
Presentation of technical challenge
Discussion of case
A third interview with the cofounders (1h):
Skill assessments and aligning expectations
Opportunity to get answers to your remaining questions
