Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and quieter, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main barrier: charging.

Electra is constantly innovating to make electric vehicle charging easier, with a network of fast charging stations (20 minutes on average) and a maximally simplified user experience.

Based in Paris, Lyon, Bordeau, Nantes, Brussels, Madrid, Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Milan and Amsterdam, Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 15,000 fast charging points by 2030, proud to contribute to the energy transition in Europe.

In 4 years, we have:

• Deployed 500 stations and over 2000 fast-charging points

• Secured thousands of stations to establish Electra as a leader in the European market

• Opened several offices in France and Europe

• Raised over €1 billion in equity and debt financing from renowned investors and institutions

• Joined the French Tech Next 40 and won the European Scale-up of the Year 2024 award

• Assembled a team of over 240+ talents… and this is just the beginning !

💼 Your Missions

Batteries are becoming a cornerstone of Electra’s deployment strategy. They allow us to:

1. Deploy stations in grid-constrained areas
2. Actively reshape our load to reduce electricity bills and generate revenue from electricity markets

As Battery Expert, you will be the key pivot point and source of expertise for battery-enabled stations in the Netherlands, both within Electra and with our partners, covering design, installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance.

You will report to the Head of Ops (or acting Head of Ops) and work closely with HQ teams (Industry, Energy, Network Operations).

Your main tasks will be:

• Adapt our industrial rollout plan to local constraints in the Netherlands
• Analyze and challenge technical design choices to optimize performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
• Interface with DNOs, local partners, and Electra’s HQ teams
• Monitor the deployment of batteries in the Netherlands and ensure operational excellence
• Provide electrical and technical expertise to internal teams
• Identify and assess economic opportunities for batteries in the Netherlands
• Shape the operations strategy for our growing network of batteries in the Netherlands

😎 Your Profile

• Strong electrical engineering expertise
• Proven hands-on experience with batteries: installation, commissioning, operations, maintenance
• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience
• High curiosity and problem-solving mindset
• Strong team player and autonomous, with the ability to coordinate cross-country efforts
• Passionate about pushing boundaries and making things work in R&D and challenging environments
• Fluent in English; local language is a strong plus
