About the team & role

Join us as a Full Stack Software Engineer and help make sustainable weight loss available to everyone. Reporting directly to the CPTO - Gwen, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products.

In this early‑stage, fast‑paced environment, you’ll contribute across the stack and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams — design, medical, commercial, and more — to turn visions into reality. We don’t expect you to know everything, but we value eagerness to learn.

Like everyone on the team, you’re focused on creating a smooth and enjoyable user experience 😊. You’ll explore the state‑of‑the‑art globally in obesity care and collaborate closely with other engineers and designers to build solutions that improve patient outcomes and scale effectively.

What you’ll do

From day one, you can expect to:

• Write TypeScript across our mobile app, backend, and web frontend

• Engage in constructive design and code reviews to foster mutual growth and learning

• Collaborate with the team to maintain a fast‑paced, iterative, and continuously improving delivery process

• Write automated tests, ranging from unit to end‑to‑end tests

• Apply security‑by‑design principles as we handle sensitive data

• Contribute to architecture and technical strategy with the team

• Embrace challenges and tackle performance bottlenecks with a problem‑solving mindset

As you join us in our early stages, there will be a unique opportunity to significantly influence technical choices, product features, and company culture.

💻 What’s our stack and technical needs?

• Extended experience in TypeScript

• Deep proficiency in React and/or React-Native and NestJS or an comparable back-end framework

• Deep knowledge of Relational databases and PostgreSQL

• Strong knowledge of common design patterns

• Experience deploying and operating software in a cloud environment

• Experience using monitoring and product analytics tools. At Annette we use Datadog and PostHog
