Role Overview

We are seeking a highly technical and customer-oriented Solution Engineer to join our growing team. As a Solution Engineer, you will bridge the gap between our Sales and Product teams, playing a critical role in the pre-sales process. You will be responsible for understanding prospect requirements, designing tailored solutions, and demonstrating the technical capabilities of Dotfile platform to both technical and business stakeholders. You will report directly to the Director of Solutions Consulting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical advisor during the sales process, working alongside the Sales team to qualify opportunities and design solutions that address customer needs

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with prospects to understand their compliance workflows, technical architecture, and integration requirements

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts that showcase how Dotfile solves specific customer challenges

  • Design and present technical solutions and integration architectures tailored to each prospect’s unique environment

  • Create technical proposals, solution documentation, and integration plans for prospective customers

  • Respond to technical questions in RFPs and security questionnaires

  • Collaborate closely with the Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and influence product roadmap

  • Support the Technical Account Manager during complex implementations, providing technical expertise and solution guidance

  • Stay current on compliance regulations, industry trends, and competitive landscape to position Dotfile effectively

  • Contribute to the development of technical collateral, best practices documentation, and internal knowledge base

Profil recherché

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, or similar technical customer-facing role, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or RegTech

  • You possess strong technical skills with deep understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication protocols, and modern integration patterns

  • You have experience designing technical architectures and can communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • You have excellent presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences

  • You have a consultative approach and can quickly understand customer business challenges and translate them into technical requirements

  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment and can manage multiple opportunities simultaneously

  • You have strong problem-solving abilities and can think creatively to design innovative solutions

  • You have experience with RegTech or financial services technology (nice to have)

  • You are fluent in English; French is a plus

  • You are passionate about technology and helping customers succeed through innovative solutions


Déroulement des entretiens

  • 45 min with the Director of Solutions Consulting. You will get the opportunity to tell your story, learn about Dotfile vision and ways of working and ask any question you want

  • 45 min with Vasco, the CEO

  • 1h case study with a panel

  • Reference checks with past managers or colleagues
