What you’ll do

The role of the Privacy team at Doctolib is to build compliant, pragmatic and sustainable data protection frameworks wherever we operate, safeguard user privacy and advise various teams in the implementation of global data protection policies and practices within the organization. As Privacy Counsel, you will be a key member of the Legal team. You will take part in innovative projects in a very exciting time in the company’s development. Indeed, AI is at the heart of our ambitious product vision, and you will be a key player in this new chapter for Doctolib.

You will join a team composed of an intern, two privacy lawyers and will report directly to the Global Data Protection Officer & Director.

We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic and hands-on experienced privacy professional to assist Doctolib’s teams to design innovative solutions that meet our clients and users needs while fitting with Doctolib privacy-first culture.

This role will be based in Levallois-Perret and is a short term contract.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • In collaboration with the rest of the Privacy team, contribute actively to the implementation of the projects and the strategy around data protection globally as needed;
  • Build up and maintain global privacy policies, data privacy management processes and documentation;
  • Develop and implement AI legal frameworks and best practices across the organization;
  • Participate to the development of awareness and training actions on and data protection to ensure successful end-to-end delivery of our privacy ambitions;
  • Support and collaborate seamlessly with the Legal team on data privacy topics, in particular marketing- and product-related initiatives;
  • Support and collaborate with the Legal and business teams on the use of tracking technologies;
  • As needed, support investigation and resolution of privacy incidents;
  • Monitor on-going regulatory and legislative developments on data protection and AI to properly advise the relevant teams on the latest developments and upcoming changes.

Who you are

You could be our next team mate if you:

  • You are a talented lawyer with minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in an international company, preferably tech company (healthcare tech company would be ideal!) and/or law firm;
  • You have a deep understanding of EU data protection regulation (GDPR, e-privacy,etc.);
  • You have a good understanding of AI regulatory frameworks and AI technologies;
  • You deal effectively with high-profile stakeholders on complex legal matters;
  • You have the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly to change business needs and/or priorities;
  • You have this ability to both analyze complex issues and be straight to the point;
  • You have excellent communication skills, both oral and in written;
  • You are fluent in French and in English.
