General description:

We are looking for a motivated Data Scientist Intern to join our Data team and contribute to the development of our internal data and analytics platform for insurance operations.

After an onboarding and training phase, you will progressively take ownership of specific data workflows related to insurance portfolio analysis and document processing. During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience with real insurance datasets, document processing pipelines, and AI-assisted data analysis tools.

You will work closely with the data and product teams to improve how insurance data is collected, structured, and analyzed, contributing to the development of internal tools that support operational decision-making.

Key responsibilities

- Contribute to the development of internal data tools for insurance portfolio analysis
• Work on data ingestion and processing pipelines for fleet and claims datasets
• Support the development of document processing workflows

• Assist in building and improving data visualization and reporting tools used by the insurance team
• Collaborate with the insurance team to improve internal data workflows and automation
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, processing efficiency, and analytics capabilities

Profile

• Master’s student in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering
• Basic knowledge of Python and data analysis tools (Pandas, notebooks, etc.)
• Interest in data engineering, machine learning or AI
• Curious, organized, and proactive
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interest in startups, digital environments, and insurtech

Nice to have:

• Experience with data visualization tools or dashboards
• Basic knowledge of machine learning or LLMs
• Familiarity with Git or collaborative development tools
