🛠 Tech Team and Technical Stack

We are building the infrastructure and interfaces necessary to optimize the main processes of road freight transport.

Currently, the tech team consists of 30 people; as a Team Lead, you will play a key role in shaping one of our newly created product teams and directly influencing the evolution of both the company and the product.

Our product is divided into three parts: the API, the mobile app, and the web app. The apps are developed in React/React Native. The API is developed in Python/Django with Django Rest Framework, uses PostgreSQL, and is hosted on Google Cloud.

Our product surface is wide, with many features, and we work hard to keep it simple and user friendly, while ensuring it remains easy to develop and maintain.

How we work

We use the Shape Up method to organize the teams. Our timeline is organized in 8-week cycles consisting of 6 weeks of feature development followed by 2 weeks of cooldown where the tech team can focus on refactoring, bug fixing, performance improvements.

We operate with continuous deployment (Github/Github Actions) and release new product enhancements every day, with feature flags to ensure smooth delivery.

🚀 The Mission

As the Team Lead for Reports, Profitability and Price Intelligence, you will lead a new team dedicated to creating value for our customers through the data generated by our platform. This means developing tools that help our users understand their profitability, optimize pricing, and gain actionable insights.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a cross-functional team of engineers.

• Collaborating with product, design, and data stakeholders to shape impactful features.

• Driving development across the stack (React/React Native on the frontend, Django/PostgreSQL on the backend).

• Working on data problems spanning data engineering, BI, and data science.

• Writing decision records, ensuring proper documentation, and enabling the team to scale efficiently.

• Establishing and maintaining technical best practices within the team.

• You have proven experience leading an engineering team, mentoring others, and setting a technical direction.

• You combine an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong product sense, and you love solving problems that create value for users.

• You are comfortable working across the stack and can contribute hands-on when needed.

• You have exposure to data-related domains (data pipelines, BI dashboards, analytics, or applied data science) and are eager to work on data-intensive features.

• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code is important to you.

• You are always looking for ways to simplify existing systems, and you value pragmatic solutions that balance speed and quality.

• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and can clearly articulate decisions and trade-offs.

• You have strong knowledge of React and backend development with Python/Django, or a similar stack.

• Bonus: you have experience working on a complex SaaS platform or data-heavy product.

• Ambitious: you want to play a key role in transforming an industry through technology and data.

• Driven: you thrive in a fast-moving environment and know how to keep a team focused and efficient.

• Spoken/written English is mandatory (we have an international team).
