We are at a very specific moment: the product is live, we have paying customers who push us every week, and we are about to accelerate hiring and go after bigger deals. You would join right before that curve bends, when the team is still small and every decision has a visible impact on how we scale.
You’re not joining a blank page: so far, product work has been shared between Martin (CEO), Aurélien (Product Designer) and the engineering team. Your role is to add focus, structure and speed to this existing product engine, not to centralize all product decisions.
We are based in Paris and work in a hybrid way. For this role, we want someone who lives in or around Paris and is happy to come to the office regularly to work closely with engineers and designers.
We are an EPD-first company (Engineering, Product, Design).
You will be the first Product Manager at Primo — joining as a mid/senior IC with significant influence on how we understand problems, make decisions and ship useful product, together with Product Designers and the engineering team.
Your job:
Do discovery only as much as needed to move fast. We don’t want heavy research cycles or theoretical product work — we want someone who frames problems quickly, aligns people, and helps the team ship the right things without slowing down design or engineering. Your role is to help define what “great” looks like, bring structure to decisions, and turn complex IT tools into a simple, powerful experience users love — by working hand-in-hand with design and engineering.
You connect dots, clarify priorities, and make sure we’re solving the right problems at the right time.
You rely on data, analytics and quantitative customer feedbacks.
Engineers and designers stay deeply involved in product decisions. We’re looking for someone to amplify that collaboration, not replace it.
A small, tight-knit team of smart coworkers who never say “this is not my job”
High autonomy and responsibility
A fluid organisation where decisions are fast
A lot of space to grow as Primo scales
Direct access to customers, and direct impact on the roadmap
A very close partnership with Product Designers on discovery, problem framing and solution design
In your first month
Learn the product deeply, including tech constraints and existing decisions
Shadow support & sales calls to understand how customers talk about Primo
Pair with designers and engineers on at least one live project to understand how we currently do product & design
Take ownership of one project and ship it end-to-end with the team
Within three months
Fully own one area of the product, from discovery to delivery — in close collaboration with design & engineering
Lead or co-lead research sessions with customers and MSP partners (often alongside Aurélien)
Bring structure and clarity to how we make product decisions (framing problems, prioritizing bets, making trade-offs)
Build Analytics pipeline, view and dashboard that support decisions in product.
Within six to twelve months
Become the reference person for one or more product pillars (problems, outcomes, priorities)
Help shape our product rituals, decision-making and prioritization — keeping them lightweight and collaborative
Defined what Product Management at Primo means, co-build the product team around you.
Play a key role in making Primo the product people cite when they say “finally good IT software”
This is a hands-on IC role. You might be a good fit if:
4 to 8 years of experience as a Product Manager (mid/senior level)
Comfortable owning the full PM loop: discovery → problem shaping → specs → delivery → iteration
Strong data analytical skills (PostHog, Amplitude, SQL, dashboards, KPIs…)
Ability to work with engineers, understand tech trade-offs, and enjoy digging into the details
You enjoy co-creating solutions with designers, not throwing specs over the wall
Clear communication, active listening, and willingness to change your mind when needed
Balance of craft, clarity and pragmatism
Fluent in English
Based in Paris or willing to relocate, and happy to work in-person with the team several days per week
Experience in SMB SaaS, internal tools, IT, security or technical products
Experience setting up early product rituals / processes
Experience with AI-powered features
Experience running customer discovery with technical audiences
Excited to tackle an unsexy but huge & useful market
Appetite for building ambitious systems from scratch
Preference for small, senior teams with limited management layers
Enjoy pushing the boundaries of your job description
You would describe yourself as talented, motivated, intense & curious
You want to help shape both our product and our culture
We try to keep things simple and respectful of your time.
Intro call with Benoît (CTO & Hiring Manager)
Practical product exercise to understand how you think and collaborate
Final chats with Martin (CEO), Aurélien (Founding Product Designer), and a few engineers
We provide clear feedback after each step.
