As part of the rapid growth of its market analysis specialising in energy storage, Clean Horizon is looking for an engineer to support the design of energy storage projects for its clients based in Germany.
This permanent position will be based both remotely (2-3 days per week) and on-site (2-3 days per week) under the supervision of the Country Manager for Germany.
The company’s offices are based in Maiz, Germany.
Your main responsibilities :
· Technical support and operational consulting assignments :
o Participate in the technical design of storage projects, connection studies and system optimisation
o Support clients throughout their projects: feasibility studies, technology choices, contracting
o Assist clients during deployment, visit construction sites (within Germany)
Conducting economical studies :
Study the profitability of storage projects, develop standard economic models (standard batteries, projected revenues, etc.), analyse regulatory dynamics and carry out technical and economic modelling (costs, potential revenues, profitability factors) in different countries
Exchange with the client on the results of the studies (Q&A)
Attend any conferences and meetings, write reports, etc., as required
As a graduate of an engineering school university or with a master’s degree specialising in energy technology, electrical engineering or equivalent, you have proven experience in this field.
You are familiar with electrical engineering: Basics of electricity, power electronics, electrical grids.
You are familiar with the issues facing the energy markets or have experience in the following areas: Electricity markets, contract negotiation or consulting.
You are comfortable using Office software, particularly Excel.
Fluency in German and English is essential.
