Your mission

Your mission: to transform complex climate challenges into clear, data-driven strategies for Europe’s leading investment funds and their portfolio companies. You will be on the front line, wielding your advisory skills and the power of the Carbometrix platform to drive meaningful decarbonisation.

As a Climate Consultant at Carbometrix, you will:

• Become an expert on key climate standards and methodologies like the GHG Protocol, PCAF, and SBTi, acting as a resource for both clients and the team.

• Deliver carbon footprint projects autonomously for companies in all sectors, from the collection of reliable data to the impactful presentation of the results to clients.

• Contribute to any other type of climate-related projects for our clients (financed emissions, avoided emissions, decarbonisation plan, climate strategy, climate risks, etc.) to become versatile across the entire Carbometrix range of services.

• Build Carbometrix’ excellence by improving the platform, internal methodologies, tools and processes, and by sharing insights on projects, clients and the market with the rest of the team.

• Support sales and marketing efforts by contributing to marketing content (articles, webinars), joining client meetings to demonstrate our expertise or assisting the sales team in drafting commercial proposals.

You will join a team of 10 Climate Consultants and have the opportunity to progress quickly to a Senior role with greater advisory and commercial responsibility.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for potential over prior experience. You’re a perfect fit if this sounds like you:

• You have 2 to 5 years of work experience, ideally in an analytical or consulting role.

• You already have experience related to climate strategy, carbon accounting or ESG.

• You are a structured thinker who naturally breaks down complex problems into a logical path to a solution.

• You master spreadsheets and have a passion for playing with data and building robust data models.

• You demonstrate strong business acumen, always connecting your analytical work back to our clients’ commercial goals and strategic reality.

• You demonstrate intellectual rigor with a meticulous attention to detail and a deep curiosity to understand the “why” behind every number.

• You take full ownership of your work, proactively driving your projects forward with a strong sense responsibility.

• You are proficient in leveraging AI tools to drive productivity, while maintaining sharp critical judgment to validate and refine outputs.

• You are genuinely committed to tackling climate change, sharing the passion and drive that fuels our collective mission.

• You are fluent in English, our primary working language. Proficiency in French and/or in another European language (like German, Italian or Dutch) is a major plus.
