CFM – Compliance Internship – Internal Control
The Legal & Compliance Department
CFM invests in international financial markets. Our Legal & Compliance team is involved in complex projects that require an in-depth understanding of the rules governing these markets. If you are a team player, rigorous, and want to invest in an international environment specializing in finance, come and join our team!
The position:
Based in Paris, depending on the candidate's profile, the position will include participation in all or some of the following tasks:
* Continuous development of the institution's internal control system (risk mapping, strengthening of controls, documentation and formalization of certain internal control team processes, etc.)
* Updating CFM's Market Abuse policies and procedures, and periodically reviewing and documenting alert scenarios for the internally developed detection tool
* Drafting internal control reports covering the company's activities (portfolio management, trading, operations, fund valuation, IT security, etc.)
* Preparing audits and control summaries
* Collaborating with operational teams (Risk, Operations, IT, Research) to report anomalies to management.
Your profile:
Essential:
* Master's degree or equivalent (law degree, university or business school, ideally with a specialization in compliance/market finance/auditing/risk)
* Fluent English
* Knowledge of the regulatory environment in Europe and/or the US
* Analytical, conscientious, and diligent
* Curiosity, desire to learn and get involved
* Attention to detail
* Strong team spirit
Desirable:
* Experience in compliance/internal control in the financial sector would be a real plus
* Knowledge of the main financial products
* Knowledge of investment fund structures
Start date: September/October
Duration: 6 months
