As a member of the NLP team, you will be responsible for creating linguistic rules or adapting existing ones in order to improve Bodyguard’s technology.
Our moderation rules are built up from sets of keywords, grammatical contexts and sentimental nuances.
Your Mission
Active monitoring of social media to identify emerging trends in online hate in different industry verticals like media, gaming, brands, etc.
Identify content not detected by our technology and fine-tune the detection when content is mistakenly deleted.
Collaborating with engineering teams for training and tuning NLP language rules.
Bilingual or C2 level in English (mandatory): You have a perfect command of the English language, including subtle nuances, idioms, and cultural references across different English-speaking regions.
Multilingual Bonus: While not mandatory, a strong professional level in French or another language is a significant advantage for this role.
Educational Background: You have a degree in languages (e.g., LEA, translation, linguistics, or localisation).
Linguistic Precision: You have mastered spelling, syntax, and typographical standards, and you know how to adapt translation styles to different contexts.
Social Media Native: You are highly active and observant on social platforms, staying on top of the latest trends, codes, and evolving internet slang.
Tech-Savvy: You have a genuine interest in technology and are comfortable working on a highly technical AI-driven product.
Soft Skills: You are autonomous, proactive, and show extreme attention to detail (rigor is key for our NLP rules!).
Values: You are passionate about Tech for Good and dedicated to creating safer digital spaces for everyone.
Location: This position is based in our Nice office. Please note that we do not offer full remote options (hybrid work policy applies).
