Your Mission:

Job Title: Technical Lead / Head of Engineering
Location: Fully Remote (Europe-based, compatible with French working hours)
Schedule: Four-Day Workweek

  • Within 3 months, you will have a deep understanding of our technical architecture, articulated a plan to eliminate technical debt, and outlined an AI integration strategy to enhance our platform, while successfully delivering impactful improvements.

  • Within one year, you will have executed the plan to reduce technical debt, integrated AI-driven improvements, and accelerated feature delivery while ensuring site reliability.

  • Within two years, you will have driven the scalability of our platform, refined our technology vision, and fostered a high-performing engineering team.

We are looking for a Technical Lead / Head of Engineering to take our tech team to the next level. With the potential to grow into a CTO role over time, this role presents a unique opportunity to shape our technical vision, improve team performance, and drive faster feature development while maintaining a strong focus on site performance and reliability. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, coding, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of developers (Senior Developer and Junior Developer), fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • Drive the technical vision and strategy for long-term scalability and site reliability.

  • Hands-on coding (50% of the time) to develop features, optimize performance, and address technical challenges.

  • Implement and improve processes for faster feature development and iteration.

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, including Operations and Commercial leaders, to align technology goals with business development objectives and drive company growth.

  • Mentor team members and create opportunities for their professional growth.

  • Oversee deployment pipelines, server infrastructure, and site reliability practices.

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure smooth project delivery, working hand in hand with Operations and Commercial leaders to support and enable their vision for company growth.

Profil recherché

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Soft Skills:

  • Strong expertise in PHP, SQL, JavaScript, React, MySQL, and object-oriented programming.

  • Stress-resistant and able to perform under pressure.

  • A natural leader who leads by example.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate uncertainty.

  • Solid understanding of server structures, SSH (command lines), deployment pipelines, and GIT.

  • Familiarity with project management frameworks (e.g., Agile) and experience implementing them.

  • Proven track record of optimizing site performance and ensuring reliability.

  • Experience managing and mentoring technical teams, with an emphasis on fostering collaboration and accountability.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.

  • Proficiency in French (required) and English (a plus).

  • A passion for music and the music industry.
