To succeed in this role, you’ll need to effectively define scope, plan, implement, and report on global initiatives related to learning, culture development, and the employee experience—ensuring they are aligned with Basware’s strategic priorities and deployed consistently across the organisation.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, serving as both a facilitator and enabler to advance employee engagement and implement impactful learning methodologies and assets. You will succeed in this role if you consider yourself an experienced, proactive change agent—someone who blends deep expertise in Learning and Competence Development with a strong drive for cultural transformation.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Continuous development and execution of our learning strategy, with special focus on Leadership competencies and Values-driven core competencies
  • Development and delivery of our global training programs and other learning solutions, including management development, onboarding, and career development frameworks.
  • Partnering closely with a wide range of business and HR stakeholders, People Enablement teams in the functions and occasionally with external L&OD suppliers
  • Business owner of core Learning and Development tools and platforms: e.g. team management & 270/360 platforms, Insights Discovery
  • Continuous development and project-management of our employee engagement surveys
  • Program-manages Basware’s Growth Culture program and other strategic culture initiatives
  • Supports a wide array of HR and business stakeholders in Learning and Organization Development matters, methods and principles

Skills & Requirements

As an ideal candidate for this position, you have:

  • Good knowledge of effective, state-of the art learning and development methods, tools and learning management systems
  • Strong project and change management skills
  • Ability to create and deliver effective presentations to a wide range of stakeholders on all levels of our organization, including Senior Leadership
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Structured and organized ways of working
  • Willingness to move from management to being a proactive hands-on doer
  • Passion for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organization and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • A customer-oriented mindset, and a proactive and positive make-it-happen attitude
  • Awareness of artificial intelligence concepts, tools, or applications is considered a strong asset.
