Job Description

Your team:

You will strengthen the ARTELIA Industrie Suisse SA team in Pratteln (Basel area), within a fast-growing industrial engineering environment.

We deliver challenging projects in industrial plants and process industries, both as EPC/turnkey support and on-site technical assistance, across the full project lifecycle: feasibility, engineering, detailed design, execution and commissioning (greenfield or brownfield).

To support our growth, we are looking for a Senior Construction Manager, able to contribute both technically and in the leadership to tackle challenges on construction and commissioning phases of our projects

Your Position:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervise projects during construction on customers’ sites including scheduling, communications to stakeholders, managing on-site activities, on-site follow-up and reporting to customers
• Draft and manage work permits
• Manage, monitor and be proactive to ensure respect of HSE rules during works
• Validate contractor documents (construction plans, procedures, risk analysis, etc.)
• Multidisciplinary works coordinator (mechanical, piping, steel structure, C.W, handling, etc.)
• Guarantee quality and HSE policy

Your Profile:

Education

• Degree in the field of Mechanical / Chemical or Pharma industry (Dipl.ES, HES, B Sc. or equivalent)

Experience

• Proven experience with a minimum of 8 years' experience in engineering or construction management
• Experience in the Swiss industrial environment.
• Experience in chemicals, pharmaceuticals or process industries preferred

Technical skills

• Solid background in Chemical or Pharma projects construction follow-up
• Good command of common office tools (Suite Office, Project)
• GMP knowledge: an asset

Languages

• Fluency in German
• English: professional working level required
• French: an asset
