About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Director of Data & Digital Marketing with a strong background in digital advertising. You have extensive knowledge of the digital advertising landscape and a clear vision of Artefact’s complete digital proposition and services. You are able to communicate this vision effectively, inspiring both internal teams and external stakeholders—including existing and potential clients and key partners.

You are an enterprising leader with strategic vision and commercial insight. You can further develop Artefact’s positioning in the ever-evolving (international) landscape, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of the market with innovative products and digital services.

You stimulate entrepreneurship and collaboration, give trust, and empower others. You inspire, take initiative, and make decisions with confidence.

What We Are Looking For:

• A successful track record in building high-performing teams and managing P&L responsibility
• Experience in professional services and/or custom solutions within digital or consumer tech
• Proven ability to create real impact with clients: you win pitches, secure engagements, and oversee their successful delivery to ensure clients achieve measurable value
• A strong background in marketing and sales within a digital agency environment
• Extensive experience in digital marketing and a frontrunner in emerging trends and innovations
• Familiarity with Artefact’s culture, with the ability to attract, motivate, and retain top talent; empathetic and mindful of the broader stakeholder landscape
• Clear communicator with a compelling vision; inspiring and credible to both the organization and external stakeholders
• Experienced in leading client and project teams to support top-level executives (CMO, CDO, CEO) in transforming their business, ensuring Artefact is seen as a preferred strategic partner
• Pragmatic, hands-on, and results-oriented, with strong personal drive and energy
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Skilled in building partnerships with tech partners and aligning on shared business objectives
• A visible ambassador for Artefact at events and recognized as a subject matter expert in your field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and foster strong relationships internally and externally
• Fluent in both Dutch and English
