The Role: Analyst – Disputes & Investigations (Paris) 

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join our Disputes & Investigations team in Paris. This is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start a career in forensic investigations, dispute advisory, and financial analysis. 

As an Analyst, you will support experienced consultants on complex, high-impact assignments involving corporate investigations, forensic accounting, litigation, and regulatory matters. You will be trained on the job and given responsibility early on in a high-performing, collaborative team environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support the team in conducting internal investigations related to fraud, corruption, misconduct, and financial irregularities. 

  • Assist with the analysis of financial data, accounting records, and documentation to identify anomalies or suspicious patterns. 

  • Help prepare deliverables such as client reports, presentations, and working papers, under the guidance of more senior team members. 

  • Contribute to litigation support engagements, including data analysis, financial modelling, and research for expert witness reports. 

  • Participate in document review and analysis of emails, transaction logs, and financial statements. 

  • Conduct market and background research to support investigative findings. 

  • Organize, manage, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data. 

  • Collaborate closely with team members across service lines and international offices. 

 

Qualifications :  

  • Master’s degree (M2) in Audit, Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis from a top-tier French business school (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, EM Lyon, EDHEC) or Université Paris Dauphine (Grande École or equivalent). 

  • Internship experience in audit, transaction services, forensics, or financial consulting is a strong advantage. 

  • Demonstrated interest in investigations, disputes, litigation support, or compliance. 

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with accounting standards is a plus. 

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 

  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, is essential. 

  • High level of integrity, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive mindset. 

  • Strong sense of responsibility, rigour, and commitment to quality.
