Under the supervision of the project manager, the production manager’s main tasks will be to produce photographs at the request of clients (European Union and others):
Photo production :
Receive requests,
Organise photo shoots,
Manage planning and administrative formalities (shooting authorisations & image rights, transport, accreditations, etc.),
Liaise with suppliers around the world,
Ensure the final quality check of the photos, before delivery,
Retouch/edit photos, if necessary, guarantee the quality of deliverables,
Deliver photos to clients on time,
Coordinate different projects at once & know how to prioritise.
Budget management :
Knowledge of the development, verification, monitoring and negotiation of budgets,
Manage billing in coordination with the administrative department,
Follow-up of relations and administration with service providers (assignment of rights of editors, photographers, freelancers, etc.).
Skills :
Photo & Photo Editing,
Editing (selection, indexing, quality check, etc.),
Knowledge of indexing software (Bridge, Lightroom, Photo Mecanic, etc.),
Have good interpersonal skills,
Be motivated, dynamic, highly organised & flexible,
Know how to anticipate, be proactive.
Experience :
Have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position,
Have an in-depth knowledge of the audiovisual industry and political news,
English C1, a basic knowledge of French is a plus
Interest in international news,
On-call duty possible on weekends and public holidays.
The Production Manager will also be involved in video and text production and development. The missions described above in production and budget management will therefore also be applicable to video and text formats.
The production manager may also be required to participate in the development of FACTSTORY :
Participation in the development of tender projects and submission of customer pitches,
Participation in the development of new video formats and content,
Participate in creative proposals for new projects,
Support for the sales team.

Other information regarding the work environment :
This position is to be filled immediately on a full-time fixed-term contract in Bogota, travel possible abroad.
As part of your duties, your working hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., including a one-hour lunch break. The planned compensation ranges between 7,000,000 COP gross and 8,000,000 COP gross.
You will report regularly to your line manager on your activities.
