The position

Job description

Seiza’s sales model is based on outbound sales. The BDR therefore plays a key role as the first point of contact between us and the potential customer. He creates the spark that sets things in motion. Without it, nothing happens.

To create this spark, the BDR has to fulfill several missions:

Identify companies that have a problem we can solve, and the person within the company whose job it is to solve it.

Have a conversation with this person to bring out their issues and explain how we’ve solved these problems in similar companies and the positive consequences for their business (increased revenue, reduced costs, saved time…)

Arrange a meeting after identifying what he’s trying to achieve with Seiza, who’s involved in the decision-making process and what the problem-solving priority is.

Pass on the key points of the conversation to the AE (senior sales representative).

Preferred experience

You’re the ideal profile if you want to learn how to:

Speak as an equal with decision-makers from large companies and work on complex sales with key accounts.

Elevate your pitch by talking about your customers’ business challenges and how you solve them, rather than just rolling out a catalog of functionalities.

Learn and put into practice the CCS (Customer Centric Selling) methodology to make quality appointments that turn into opportunities.

Develop human qualities that will be useful to you throughout your life and career:

  • Perseverance: Demonstrate persistence and regularity in your efforts, don’t get discouraged, and give yourself strength in the face of obstacles by tapping into your internal sources of motivation.

  • Self-confidence: Self-confidence means recognizing the value of what you believe, say and do. It’s seeing what you can do, when you can do it and how you can do it, rather than believing or asserting that you can do anything.

  • Communication: Expressing yourself in clear language, constructing an effective and understandable message, no matter who you’re talking to.

  • Persuasion: Present and defend your ideas in a way that attracts support.

  • Active listening: Silence is golden. The best salespeople spend 80% of their time listening and asking questions, rather than spouting off.

  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in French is essential for this position, as you will need to communicate effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders. Additionally, fluency in at least one of the following languages is required: English, German, Italian, or Spanish. This will enable you to engage with a wider audience and handle international accounts with ease.

Recruitment process

  • 5-10 minute call with Sylvain, BDR’s team manager, to make sure you’re right for the recruitment process.

  • Role-play with Sylvain to see what you know about prospecting, get to know you and answer your questions.

  • Online behavioral test based on neuroscience to identify whether you have a natural aptitude for the role.

  • Meeting with Ben Cauchois, sales manager or Camille Cosnefroy ceo

  • Chat with Sylvain to answer final questions

  • Offer

The process is usually completed in 10 days.
