Welcome to the Jungle was founded in 2015 by Jérémy Clédat and Bertrand Uzeel with a mission to put the fun back into job hunting. In the fall of 2015, Proudly was founded in the Czech Republic to help people find a place where they would be happy. In 2019, they decided to join forces to build Welcome to the Jungle internationally. Today, with more than 5,000 clients across Europe and over two million unique users, the company goes much further and is considered a true media company for the job market. It is building an international team and is one of the top trendsetters in the field of company culture and approach to work. Whether it's through its approach to work-life balance or employee mental health.

Society and CSR
In July 2020, we achieved B Corp certification, which required us to meet high standards in five impact areas: Governance, Employees, Customers, Environment and Community. This certification reflects our intention to become a company that has a positive impact on society. Everything has been subjected to intense scrutiny and we continue to challenge ourselves every day on these issues to become even better in the future. One of the things we are most proud of is that this project was initiated by an internal team of volunteers. But we also want to help on a global level, which is why we have partnered closely with People in Need to help Ukraine in 2022.
We have big ambitions and this is also reflected in our recruitment process. We believe that the interview is not just about the company choosing the employee, but also about the candidate choosing the company. It is a dialogue at the end of which comes a very important decision as to whether both parties will continue their future journey together. Listening to our candidates is key for us. That's why we try not to underestimate anything and build our recruitment process to be thorough and efficient, yet challenging and stimulating. During the selection process, everyone has the opportunity to get to know local Czech colleagues, but also to talk to managers from HQ in Paris and our global management. Most of the selection processes at our company have 4 rounds, which allows us to get to know our candidate better, but also our company. Selecting the right candidates is not only up to the HR team, but our hiring managers from the specific teams where the candidate will fall also go through recruitment training on a regular basis.
