We are on the lookout for a hunter — a junior Business Developer ready to build strong pipelines, identify new leads, and actively contribute to Wakam’s mission of delivering innovative insurance solutions across Europe.

As Business Developer, you will:

  • Implement Wakam’s commercial development strategy in alignment with our growth objectives.
  • Prospect and generate leads across Italy, Spain, and other strategic markets.
  • Identify new market segments and opportunities for partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Customer Service) to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Support contract negotiations and participate in the development of commercial proposals.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and KPIs, suggesting corrective actions as needed.
  • Build a new client ecosystem in Italy , Spain and beyond, strengthening Wakam’s presence in key markets.

🧠 What You Bring

  • Degree (Bac+5) in business, management, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Italian or Spanish (Mandatory), and strong English communication skills.
  • 1+ years’ experience in insurance with a focus on sales prospecting or commercial outreach. of new market.
  • A natural hunter mindset: you’re persuasive, resilient, and able to build and nurture a strong lead pipeline.
  • Experience in digital environments or tech-driven industries is a plus.
  • Strong ability to develop relationships, negotiate effectively, and close opportunities.
  • Familiarity with sales KPIs and performance tracking tools.
