COMMUNITY MANAGER ALTERNANCE/APPRENTICESHIP

Viva Technology is offering a 12 month Social Media & Community Management alternance/apprenticeship, to a student passionate about all things digital.

The candidate will be given a crucial role in the VivaTech Marketing team and will be given real responsibility executing a dedicated social media strategy across multiple platforms.

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a global leading tech conference and to join the dynamic VivaTech team who’s working hard on the next edition of Europe’s biggest startup and tech event. With the 2020 COVD-19 crisis, we have postponed our 2020 edition to spring 2021 with plans for a new hybrid event experience. You will be joining us at an unprecedented time where we will be reinventing the next edition with the use of digital tools.

You will be responsible for:

• The incarnation of the voice of VivaTech on our social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Creating and developing the editorial planning for social media
• Programming and publication of posts
• Sourcing of information (tech articles, trends) to relay to our online communities
• Day to day social media management
• Reporting: ongoing weekly reports on social media performance
• Regular exchange with our key corporate partners to diffuse collaborative content to our community

Essential:

• You are fluent in English
• You’re at ease writing in English and can easily captivate an audience in less than 280 characters
• You’re fascinated by the tech world, startups and innovations
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to multitask
• You love to create content and you’re already an active user on social media channels
• A previous work experience in Social Media/Community Management is ideal
• You are a fan of pop culture, paying attention to the latest trends and knowing what’s hot on the web right now

Desirable:

• A big plus if you’re a wiz at Photoshop and video software
