Job description

Urban Campus looks for a dynamic and hands-on Head of Residential Management France for our rapidly expanding network of coliving and multi-family residences across France. If you possess a passion for optimizing performance, keen financial acumen, and a dedication to sustainability in urban living, this role offers an extraordinary opportunity to lead and transform.

This is a position based in Paris that reports directly to the Head of France.

You will be working within an international, highly successful, startup environment, in a team that is revolutionizing the way we live and work together in cities. In addition, you’ll be able to take part in some of the most innovative projects in real estate.

Your main responsibilities:

Operational & Financial Performance: Drive operational and financial performance by implementing strategic initiatives and monitoring key indicators to achieve and exceed objectives for the residences we manage.

Leading the French Operations Team: Oversee and grow a dedicated team of property managers, real estate accountants, sales managers, and residence managers, guiding them in efficiently managing our multifamily and coliving residences across France, encouraging a customer-focus culture.

Process Optimization: Define and refine operational processes and best practices, ensuring an unparalleled experience for our tenants and optimal operational efficiency.

Landlord relationship management: Maintain a good relationship with the different owners of our residences, at a strategic level.

Supporting Business Development: Collaborate closely with the business development team to evaluate potential buildings for management, providing critical insights, knowledge about the local market and operational expertise. Negotiate property management agreements with real estate investors for new residences.


Preferred experience

What we are looking for:

  • Leadership Skills with a hands-on approach: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a large cross-functional team in a hospitality or real estate asset management firm, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Proven ability to be hands-on, diving into details when necessary while also maintaining a strategic perspective, in alignment with an entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Operations Expertise & Process Excellence: Extensive experience in property or facilities management, with a strong understanding of real estate operations, financial management, and customer service. A knack for defining and optimizing processes to drive efficiency and maintain high-quality service delivery.

  • Organization Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for Innovation: An inclination towards embracing technology and innovation to enhance operational effectiveness and tenant experience.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both French and English is essential to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse team and stakeholders. Spanish is a plus.
