About the role

Trustpair is growing on an international scale. To support our expanding Engineering team, we're searching for a VP of Engineering who will manage the increasing complexity of our work, while maintaining high levels of quality!

Our future VP of Engineering will report to our CTO and align Trustpair's technical strategy with wider business objectives to drive innovation, optimize processes and ensure product development meets market needs.

Additionally, our VP will play a key role in attracting, developing and training top technical talent. Overseeing several teams of Engineers & Managers, the goal is to foster a strong engineering culture at Trustpair, enhancing team productivity and efficiency. 



What you'll do:

Your scope will cover leading and managing the Engineering department to achieve the company's strategic objectives and execute the company's technical strategy, as set by the CTO. You'll own the entire software development lifecycle, as well as the processes and methodologies used. 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Building and managing a high-performing engineering team
  • Implementing the technical vision for the company
  • Ensuring that the department delivers high-quality, reliable, scalable software on schedule
  • Working closely with product management to align engineering activities with business objectives
  • Implementing processes and tools to increase the productivity and efficiency of the engineering team
  • Identifying and managing risks associated with technology and product development
  • Managing the engineering budget
  • Improve cross-functional communication and collaboration

 

 

What we're looking for:


  • At least 10-15 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership role
  • Experience managing a team of at least 20-30+ engineers, some working remotely
  • Proven track record of managing the complete software development lifecycle, from concept to delivery
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience with cloud computing and software architecture
  • Familiarity with modern software development methodologies
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for dealing with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to make strategic decisions and handle complex technical challenges
