Bitstack is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to help scale our engineering organisation as we enter our next phase of growth.
This role is a key leadership position, acting as the bridge between our CTO and our engineering teams. You will be responsible for turning strategy into execution by structuring teams effectively, developing engineering leaders, and ensuring we deliver high-quality outcomes at speed.
You’ll play a central role in building a strong engineering culture, scaling delivery, and helping Bitstack grow into a world-class fintech and crypto product organisation.
Own execution of the engineering strategy
Partner closely with the CTO and cross-functional leaders to translate company priorities into clear plans and delivery outcomes.
Lead and support multiple engineering teams
Provide leadership across squads, ensuring teams are aligned, unblocked, and consistently delivering meaningful business impact.
Build high-performing teams through hiring and coaching
Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent, while developing engineers and managers through feedback, mentorship, and career support.
Create clarity, structure, and accountability
Help teams navigate ambiguity, set goals, define success metrics, and improve predictability of delivery.
Drive engineering excellence and pragmatic technical decision-making
Support technical direction, guide trade-offs, and ensure teams build scalable and maintainable systems.
Strengthen collaboration across Product, Design, and Data
Foster strong partnerships across functions to ensure smooth execution and shared ownership of outcomes.
Champion culture and ways of working
Promote psychological safety, continuous improvement, and an environment where engineers can do their best work.
Proven experience as a Senior Engineering Manager in a FinTech environment
Track record of managing multiple teams and scaling delivery in fast-paced organisations
Strong people leadership skills: coaching, feedback, performance management, and talent development
Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on execution levels
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience building teams, processes, and engineering culture during periods of growth (Series A/B experience is a plus)
Comfort working in high-ownership environments with evolving priorities
Fluency in English (French is a plus)
