As a Head of Data, reporting to Simon, our CTO, you will lead and grow Data Engineers and Data Analysts to build the top-quality Data Platform to maximize the value of our data within the product for our users and our internal operations. You will act as the most senior data leader at Trustpair and you’ll be responsible for executing the data culture and strategy for the business.

💡Engineering architecture

• Be a hands-on leader of engineers responsible for the design, build and maintenance of various datastores, pipelines, ETL scripts, and search technology that drive user experience and move product and business data throughout the Trustpair stack ;
• Propose and define strategies to continually improve the scale, performance, and capabilities of the Data Platform ;
• Ensure the company’s data is centralized into a single data lake and modeled to support data analysis requirements from all business units

💡Delivery and engineering execution

• Work on a data and analytics roadmap with the CTO to enable the product vision and supports our operations ;
• Collaborate with other Engineering functions, Product, Operations, and other departments to ensure their data needs are addressed ;
• Coordinate security and compliance to ensure Data is accessed, processed, and stored per standards

MUST HAVE

📈 5+ years hands on experience in a data analytics/engineering/science role ;
📈 1+ years leading or managing a team of 5 or more data analysts/engineers/scientists ;
📈 Experience in scale-up ;
📈 Fluent in French and English ;
📈 Experience in technical design, implementing enterprise software solutions ;
📈 Experience with migrating, architecting, building, and deploying systems and applications to a public Cloud ;
📈 Experience in an AWS environment with some of the following technology: EMR, Glue, S3, Athena, Redshift ;
📈 Great sense of leadership and pedagogy
