Introducing the Future Ticketing apps team 👋

Our Future Ticketing apps team are the people who build the travel companion in your pocket. They own our white-label app, used by our train operating company partners that allows you to travel smart and the buy-flow process that helps you get there. The team is organised into squads with mixed ReactNative and backend engineers, each with a team lead. Squads are paired up to company level themes which set the tone for the kind of product roadmap the squad will primarily be working on delivery.

As a ReactNative Engineer at Trainline, you will... 🚄

• Be a part of the Future Ticketing team where you will contribute to the design and implementation of our software.
• Appreciate the value of agile and of engineering practices, and solid, clean code.
• Act as a mentor to more junior members of the team.
• Be actively involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle
• Work closely with the Team Lead & PO to help drive & deliver roadmaps.
• Help to build and deliver software using agile practices (Scrum, two weeks iterations), continuous integration and pair programming.
• Be delivering new functionalities, using the most appropriate tools and techniques

We'd love to hear from you if you...🔍

• Have in-depth experience with React Native. Swift & Kotlin would also be a big plus!
• Are enthusiastic about a great user experience
• Have the ability to write testable code and have strong debugging skills
• Appreciate the value of TDD, and incorporate those practices into your code
• Have experience working with Git for Version Control
