About

The recruitment market is broken, especially for tech profiles. At talent.io, our mission is to fix it for good: we aim to be the simplest way for software engineers to find a job they love, and for tech companies to build a great tech team.
And things are going fast: 5 years after our launch, we are the leader for tech recruitment in Europe with a presence in 5 countries, and we grew our team to more than 140 people.

How did we manage to do that?

We built a selective marketplace where our talent advocates vet the top 10% of tech candidates and our 5,000 customers can directly reach out to them through our platform. This is fast, qualitative and much easier than any other alternatives.

Job description

We launched our platform in London 3 years ago, but things really accelerated when the Covid crisis hit. We decided to start an extremely aggressive pricing strategy to increase the job opportunities for our candidates in this difficult period and allow all hiring companies to recruit without any barrier.

This is thus a crazy time for customer acquisition and we are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to double that growth.

What you will do:

  • Identify and build meaningful relationships with the CEOs, CTOs, Heads of HR/Recruitment of the top tech startups in London
  • Run outbound experiments including emails, calls, videos, and LinkedIn messages to start the conversation with our prospects
  • Manage and improve the efficiency of our sales tools to build scalable processes in direct relationship with our marketing and product teams (HubSpot, Ringover, Vidyard)
  • Scale the SDR function as the first SDR in the London team in order to bring us to the next level

Note about the location (as of August 2020): the London team is currently full-remote. When the sanitary crisis is over, you will work from the London office.

Preferred experience

  • Recent graduate from a top university, and/or 1 year of experience in sales
  • You are passionate about business development, you love challenges, and you are not afraid of getting a no over the phone
  • You are a quick learner, very curious with a track record of ownership
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English
