The position

Job description

You will be joining the Corporate Systems team, which is dedicated to providing a reliable working environment and productivity tools for over 1,000 employees. This includes managing M365, maintaining hybrid on-premises and public-cloud services and accompanying infrastructure. You will work in a demanding environment that values an engineering mindset and prioritizes simple, elegant solutions over complexity. 

Responsibilities 

  • M365 Administration: Oversee Teams, Sharepoint, Onedrive, Exchange Online administration. Ensure best-in-class user-experience and security best practices are applied throughout the organization. 
  • IAM : Manage identities, access, and security within Microsoft environments, specifically with Entra and Active Directory. 
  • Microsoft Purview: Play a key role in managing and securing communication and collaboration tools. 
  • Configuration as Code: Work with the team to create and manage configuration changes as code to streamline operations and maintenance tasks. 
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, including data protection, identity management, and access controls. 

Preferred experience

 

  • Experience: 5-8 years in systems engineering with a focus on Microsoft technologies is a solid requirement. It ensures candidates have substantial hands-on experience. 
  • Advanced competence covering: Office 365, Entra, Active Directory, Purview, MDE, AIP or Power Platform. (example certs: SC-300, SC-401, SC-900, MS-102, MS-700, MS-721) 
  • Career experience: Knowledge in one or more of Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint and Windows Servers is essential for managing and maintaining the infrastructure. 

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience in one or more of the following is an asset. 

  • Security Expertise: Strong knowledge in endpoint security, user behavior analysis, and security policies using Microsoft Defender products is vital for maintaining a secure environment. 
  • IaC Proficiency: Skills in Ansible, Terraform, and ARM templating are important for automating infrastructure management. 
  • CI/CD Familiarity: Knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD is necessary for streamlining development and deployment processes. 
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: A systematic approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive are key attributes for success in this role. 
  • Adaptability: The ability to quickly learn and work with new technologies, methodologies, and IT solutions is crucial in a rapidly evolving tech landscape. 
  • Programming Skills: PowerShell, Python, C, C++, Ruby, Rust, JQL, KQL
