The position

Job description

Swan is seeking a Strategic Account Manager. Someone that will grow our business from the inside by ensuring the adoption, growth and success of our customers.

You will be in charge of managing and developing our portfolio of Swan’s customers in Germany (NB: we call them ‘partners’ at Swan). You will nurture relationships with them, help them market Swan’s offering, understand their priorities and roadmap to increase our adoption and upsell them new features.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong business acumen who excels in identifying and capitalizing on entrepreneurial revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate should be curious, eager to learn, and possess a solid understanding of technical and regulatory concepts of a Financial Institution. They will leverage their consultative sales skills to understand partner and end-customer needs and position solutions for Swan’s long-term success. As a collaborative team player, they will work closely with our Product and Compliance teams to integrate critical prospect and partner requirements into our roadmap and streamline our onboarding processes.

While we’re expanding across Europe with local presence in multiple countries, this position could be based in Paris, Berlin or Amsterdam.

Your mission

Ensure the success of our partners with Swan by:

  • Accelerating time-to-revenue during the onboarding phase

  • Driving planned revenue growth

  • Ensuring a high level of satisfaction and avoiding churn

Your responsibilities

  • Manage your portfolio of partners and be accountable for their revenue growth.

  • Track and analyse your partners’ performance to identify opportunities and challenges

  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) for top partners to track progress and align strategies, drive partner engagement with standardized monthly reporting and product marketing

  • Upsell new features on existing projects with partners

  • Monitor and manage partner satisfaction through Health Score, CSAT, and other metrics

  • Coordinate with the product development team to convey customer requirements and feedback

  • Effectively work cross-functionally across the organization to shape Swan’s solutions to meet customer needs

Within our Strategic Account Management team, you will part of our Operations department and work closely with Integration Specialists, Compliance, Account Executives and Support to ensure our the success and growth of our partners.


Preferred experience

You’re a great match if:

  • 4+ years of experience in account management, key account sales or CSM position in a start-up/scale-up, another fast-paced work environment or in a consulting firm.

  • You have a strong interest in startups and emerging technology businesses.

  • You can understand and articulate technical concepts, translating them into business- or industry-relevant language.

  • You are passionate about customer success and building long-term relationships.

  • You are data-driven and highly analytical.

  • You are fluent in German with professional proficiency in English.
