The position

Job description

Swan’s Risk & Compliance team keep our banking features safe and secure, and always have to think about the best way to combine multiple areas: business, legal, regulatory, customer support, and more. Swan is both a technology company and a financial services company, and our Risk & Compliance team makes these pieces fit together!

Led by our Chief Risk Officer, the Risk & Compliance team currently comprises 15+ individuals and oversees numerous committees, meetings, and cross-functional projects.

As our team grows and the company scales up, we’re in search of a Project Manager to support our Chief Risk Officer in day-to-day operations, aiming to maximize our full potential. We seek a versatile person—a “Swiss Knife”—capable of seamlessly working across teams and the organization.

Your Mission

As a Risk & Compliance Project Manager, you will oversee training, coordinate projects, facilitate communication, monitor risk services, and manage compliance documentation.

Main Tasks

Project Coordination & Cross-Team Communication

  • Plan, organize, and supervise compliance-related projects, ensuring the quality and compliance of deliverables.

  • Collaborate with functional teams to integrate compliance initiatives into existing projects.

  • Define communication channels for cross-functional projects (e.g., Slack, weekly meetings, minutes…).

    Training

  • Ensure ongoing training on relevant regulatory requirements for the company.

  • Take responsibility for the training plan.

    Reporting and Monitoring

  • Prepare and present regular reports on the status of the Risk service to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Prepare and monitor actions from various committees (Risk Committee, New Products Committee, Monitoring Committee, etc.).

    Documentation Management

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to compliance.

  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.

Preferred experience

You’re a great match if

  • University degree in a relevant field such as business management, finance, or law.

  • Previous professional experience in project management, preferably in a regulated environment.

  • Solid understanding of relevant regulatory regulations and compliance standards.

  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, organization, and resource management.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multifunctional teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and result presentation.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.

  • Fluent in english.

  • Our ideal teammate: Empathetic. Skilled. Frank. We love to challenge each other, and we leave our egos at the door.

It’s okay if you don’t tick all the boxes — don’t let imposter syndrome prevent you from applying! 🙌

Swan is committed to providing a caring work environment for all employees, regardless of age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, race, religion, or belief.

When it comes to recruitment, we’re interested in your work experience, skills, and overall personality. Because diversity makes the workplace stronger and is necessary for Swan’s success, we are intensifying efforts to incorporate concrete actions to help us improve in this area.
