Job description

Swan is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to be in charge of developing Swan in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Part of an ambitious team, your job is to convert inbound leads into customers!

You will be joining a startup that has seen significant growth in the last few months. We are now looking to expand our sales team to crack the European market and continue our growth.

We are looking for someone with a strong business acumen, willing to make Swan grow over the long-term and excited by the challenges of selling. But we’re also looking for someone able to understand our customers’ needs and to perform consultative sales. We need a curious person, willing to learn and comfortable with the technical aspects of our product.

Lastly, we’re looking for a team player who will partner with our product and compliance teams (among others) to ensure our roadmap entails the main asks of our top prospects, and to constantly improve our onboarding processes.

Here is a snapshot of some of the responsibilities you will have:

  • You will be in charge of managing inbound leads - generate interest, identify their needs, qualify leads and turn them into active opportunities for the Account Executive Team
  • Close deals with fintech startups across Europe
  • Work in pair with a senior Account Executive, defining together the strategy to develop the pipeline
  • Attend industry events to meet new prospects and spot new opportunities for Swan throughout Southern Europe, France and Benelux
  • Effectively work cross-functionally across the organization to shape Swan’s solutions to meet customer needs

Preferred experience

  • You have prior experience experience as an Inside Sales (preferably selling a technical product in a start-up / scale-up) or you are looking to kickstart your career in sales having recently graduated
  • Previous experience in an international / European environment would be a plus
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Passion for startups and new technology businesses
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent team player and fun to work with
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts, and translate them into industry- or business-relevant terms
  • A good understanding of the Fintech ecosystem is a plus
