Mission

  • You will be responsible for ensuring the entire SpotMe platform meets its high quality standards prior to releasing to our customers. Our platform delivers thousands of virtual, onsite, and hybrid events to millions of concurrent users during events throughout the year.
  • We are looking for an experienced, creative and highly hands-on QA Team Leader able to interact with multiple teams in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment.
  • Leading and growing the current QA team, you shall bedeveloping and executing exploratory as well as automated tests in order to ensure software product quality.You shall beestimating, planning and coordinating testing activities and ensuring quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of talented QA engineers
  • Develop test plans and cases
  • Identify the risks and appropriate test coverage to validate new features as well as regression
  • Ensure QA engineers follow good testing practices to reach best quality level
  • Create, maintain and upgrade our load testing automation scripts
  • Write automated end to end functional tests for our web and mobile applications
  • Deliver test reports and results to the team
  • High level of understanding of our product and business in order to assess if our platform is performing as it should when used by our customers
  • Work with product and engineering to effectively plan testing and releases according to sprint plans and roadmap.
  • Constantly improve our QA processes to ensure the stability and quality of our product releases are increasing over time and that is delivered to 2M+ users annually
  • Use data to identify product areas that should require more testing or specific tests and cycles
  • Demonstrate creativity and take initiatives to improve our product’s test coverage and methodologies

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of QA experience including writing and executing test plans for a SaaS product development company delivering web and mobile applications
  • 2-3 years of management experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in designing and writing QA automation
  • Experience in managing and scaling a multi-disciplined QA team
  • Strong hands-on experience in building automated testing capabilities with recent technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools
  • Hands on experience with Xray is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in writing scripts (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Experienced in an agile delivery framework, ideally Scrum
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
