Overview

We’re looking for a passionate marketing intern to join our team for a 4 to 6 month internship! We are a small but growing team, filled with opportunity to learn, collaborate, and grow at a fast-moving tech company. As a part of the Marketing team, this internship is a valuable opportunity to work on a variety of topics from content creation to marketing operations to product marketing.

The marketing intern will also work closely with marketing, design, operations, and customer success teams but will to also get work directly with customers as well. This role is perfect for a creative, self-motivated and confident person who likes the mix of crafting the perfect email and optimizing the customer experience.

Key missions ✍️

Spendesk customer communications

  • Manage the overall customer communications calendar

  • Schedule, manage and deploy all customer emails and in-app announcements

  • Ensure design, layouts and CTAs of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly

  • Craft customer retention and engagement campaigns to increase customer loyalty

  • Optimize and A/B test email marketing strategies

CS enablement

  • Create presentations, handouts, infographics and content to help Customer Success engage and educate customers

  • Write copy for the onboarding and expansion teams’ email templates

Customer evangelism

  • Collect and organize customer testimonials

  • Schedule & create social posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn spotlighting key customer stories

  • Manage up-to-date information and design across review and affiliate sites (G2, Trustpilot…)


Preferred experience

Skills

  • You’re fluent in English and French

  • Currently studying marketing or business and/or previous marketing internship experience

  • You have a genuine curiosity in startups and fintech, and always seek to learn new things

  • You’re comfortable communicating with a wide array range of people whether face-to-face at events or on social media

  • You’re rigorous, organized and reliable – you know how to set your priorities and stick to them

  • And last but not least, you’re autonomous, proactive and resourceful – you’re always a step ahead and bounce back easil
